Blossom Blinds Warranties

The following warranty terms apply to Blossom Blinds products from the date of installation. Only the original purchaser may make a warranty claim, and only when proper care and maintenance have been observed since the date of installation.

Warranty Coverage

– Screenguard security products with powder-coated colour warranty for frame: 10 Years
– Powder-coated colour warranty for frame: 7 Years
– Powder-coated finish colour coated for 316 marine-grade stainless steel, perforated aluminium, and heavy privacy mesh: 5 Years
– Powder-coated finish colour coated for diamond grill: 3 Years
– All moving parts on security doors and windows, including hinges, door closers, handles, and locks: 1 Year
– Flyscreens (standard, pet, and LDVA): Manufacturing defects only
– Indoor blinds including privacy roller blinds, sheer roller blinds, panel blinds, vertical blinds, roman blinds, venetian blinds, curtains, shutters, motorised blinds, and pelmets (materials and parts): 5 Years
– Cellular blinds and associated parts: 2 Years
– Outdoor Zip Track blinds (fabric, components, motors): 5 Years
– Outdoor Zip Track blind remotes and sensors: 3 Years
– Labour warranty for all new Blossom Blinds products from date of installation: 1 Year

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Deliberate or accidental damage of any kind
• Damage due to fire, wind, storms, flooding, atmospheric conditions, earthquakes, war, pests, corrosive materials, or acts of God
• Alterations, misuse, fading, warping, or bending due to weather or temperature
• Damage resulting from pandemics or improper use by the customer or third parties or other factors out of the control of Blossom Blinds staff or suppliers.
• Flyscreen mesh (of any type), due to the delicate nature of the material, unless a manufacturing defect is present
• Fabric imperfections that are not visible to the naked eye in natural daylight from a distance of 1.2 metres
• Materials exceeding 4.8 metres in width or drop, or puckering in fabrics exceeding 2 metres in drop
• Outdoor product damage caused by natural disasters or accidents
• Damage caused by washing or cleaning of any fabrics

To the extent permitted by law, the claimant is responsible for all costs associated with:

• Removal, disposal, reinstallation, freight, travel, and insurance
• Any site assessment where the issue is found not to be covered under this warranty

Claim Requirements

To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide:

• A copy of the original invoice
• Proof of full payment upon request
